Scrawling with colour pencils, A4 paper
i used a screencap from this movie screenmusings.org/movie/blu-ra…
- drawn without any grids, or tracing methods (i was just looking on the picture & drawing what i saw, so maybe the likeness isn't perfect, but i prefer to draw/paint this way, i don't like copying pics from internet, or reference photos).
The original artwork is available for sale, if somebody is interested, also prints
Some of my other works are for sale too, feel free to ask for details
Okay, i think you are on good way.. Your drawing of the eyes is very nice and with knowing how old are you i think this drawing is very good Draw and sketch often, no matter how long in one day, and you will improve. I wish you good luck!
Sorry for my english..
The eyes I think are a tad too large and exaggerated. You've got a really consistent stroke with your pencils but I think a good thing to remember when using colored pencils is to pay close attention to the contours of the plane that we are drawing. The forehead seems to have been shaded vertically when I think a horizontal curved and heavier stroke would help express the depth of dimension. Don't be afraid to press more color onto the paper (like you did on the suit jacket).
This is a solid piece with just a few tiny avenues of improvement. Great great work.
I knew there are some mistakes, now i see them better f. e. the big eyes, when i was drawing i didn't notice it.. I didn't draw any outline or sketch with pencil for this drawing, i started straight with colour pencils..
I draw always so, that i just watch on the reference photo..
